Dr. Dheeraj Kapoor, MBBS, MD, DM (Endocrinology), FACE, FRCP (Edin), FRCP (Glas),FACP,
FICP, FRSSDI, works as Head of the Department and Chief of Endocrinology at Artemis Hospitals,
Gurugram, Haryana, India. He has served as an Editor of the Monograph “Emergencies in Diabetes
and Endocrine Diseases,” released during APICON, February 2019 and also as an editor of the
Monograph “Injectable Therapies in Diabetes” released at APICON, January 2020. He has been on
the advisory board of various journals including Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism
(IJEM), Indian Journal of Neurotrauma and Journal of Thyroid Research and Practice. He was also
involved in formulating of the “Consensus Guidelines of ESI-RSSDI” and also of the guidelines of
“The Lipid Association of India”. He is actively involved in clinical care, mentoring his DNB
residents and patient counseling. He has been a principal investigator in many clinical drug
trials. He has been practicing in this field for more than 17 years and has a special interest
in thyroid and adrenal disorders.
