About the Authors

Dr. Karan Thakur currently serves as the Group Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for the Apollo Hospitals Group, Asia’s largest integrated healthcare provider. Dr. Thakur is an alumnus of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and National Law University, New Delhi. He was the 2022 Global Fellow from India for the Eisenhower Fellowships and the recipient of the Thomas B. McCabe Fellow recognition. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence at the University of Oxford, UK.
